Tennis

The Oakridge Community Centre houses four outdoor, hardcourt tennis courts. These courts are not lighted and are heavily used during daylight hours from April to October every year.

The order of priority for tennis court usage is as follows:

  1. lessons, programs and group activities
  2. members with shoe tags

Membership Policy

Anybody may join the Oakridge Tennis Club by joining the Oakridge Community Association. Players do NOT have to live in Oakridge to join. We have members from all over Calgary and even a few from outside of Calgary.

Memberships (and shoe tags) may be ordered over the phone (403-238-0007) during regular business hours. They may then be picked up at the front desk during regular business hours.

Shoe Tag Policy

With the exception of players who are participating in lessons, leagues or programs, all players are required to wear visible shoe tags indicating that they are members in good standing. Players who are not wearing visible shoe tags will be asked to leave.

Staff and volunteers are required to enforce the shoe tag policy at all times and for all individuals. Players who are not wearing visible shoe tags will be asked to leave.
