Squash Tournament

Congratulations to Mark Pacanowski, Oakridge Squash Champion, 2009.

The 2nd Annual Oakridge Squash Tournament will be held in February/March 2010. All levels are welcome. All players will play four matches and complete in a final for prizes and glory.

Windup Party – April 10 – 2:00 PM

All players are invited to the Oakridge Boston Pizza (2580 Southland Drive) on Saturday, April 10 at 2:00 p.m. for the tournament wind-up party. Each player may bring one guest to the wind-up party.

Conditions of Entry

In order to participate in this tournament, players must be:

1. Registered league players – Join Here
2. Members of the Oakridge Community Association

Flex Tournament Format

This is a flex tournament, which means that players will contact their opponents and arrange to play when it is convenient for both players.

Each round has a two week time limit. Players are to contact their opponents and arrange to play their match within that two week period. If they are unable to agree to a time, the highest seeded player will be declared the winner.

Scoring is PAR-11, best-of-five games. Official ball is the Dunlop Pro Double Yellow Dot squash ball.

Entry Fees

Entry fee is $50.00 per player. Price includes:

  • prizes and trophies
  • free food and beverages at the wind-up party

Please note that court fees are not included. Players must pay their own court fees. Oakridge is a members-only club.

Prize Package

Prizes and benefits for players in this year’s tournament will exceed $1500.00. Oakridge will provide food and refreshments at the tournament windup party ($240.00). Racquet Network will provide trophies, medals and engraving ($250.00).

Every participant will also win a prize. Prizes will be awarded by lottery and include the following:
