Learn Squash Together

This popular program of semi-private squash lessons is for adults and/or juniors (11+) who want to learn how to play squash correctly, safely and within the rules. Players sign up in pairs and learn to play squash together under the guidance of a certified adult instructor.

Past pairings have included:

Program participants are introduced to:

modern squash grip
safe and healthy squash technique
basic footwork
the six basic strokes
the eight essential habits of good squash
the rules of squash
squash health and safety

Program fees can include the following materials:

2 squash racquets
2 squash goggles
2 squash balls
2 copies of Squash Canada’s Guide to Understanding the Rules of Squash

Oakridge Community Centre (SW Calgary)
Acadia Recreation Complex (SE Calgary)

Schedule

Schedule is subject to instructor/student availability. Under normal circumstances, lessons are scheduled twice a week over four weeks.
