Fitness
The Oakridge Community Centre houses a co-ed Quick Fit circuit gym with seven different pieces of equipment that provide a whole-body work out, set to music, in just 30 minutes.
The Quick Fit gym is open to members:
- 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday
- 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Fridays
- 8:00 a.m.-Noon on Saturdays.
An individual Quick Fit membership is $200.00 per year. A family membership is just $300.00 per year. Both memberships allow unlimited visits.
Users must be at least 12 years old. Users under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Yoga
Drop-in for yoga on Wednesday evenings: 7:30-8:30 p.m. The Oakridge Community Centre’s yoga program is led by Jane Sponiar (403-281-7553). Choose between a full membership or a small drop-in fee.
50+ Fitness
Drop-in for 50+ Fitness on Thursday mornings: 10:00-11:00 a.m. The Oakridge Community Centre’s 50+ Fitness program is led by Gerry Savard (403-281-5285).
Public Skating
Drop-in for public skating on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday afternoons. Free for members of the Oakridge Community Association. Helmets required.
- Tuesdays -3:30-4:30 p.m.
- Thursdays – 2:30-4:30 p.m.
- Sundays - 2:30 – 3:30pm.
Adult Skating
Drop-in for public skating on Wednesday mornings: 9:30-10:30 a.m. Free for members of the Oakridge Community Association. Helmets required.
Parent & Tot Skating
Drop-in for parent and tot skating on Wednesday afternoons: 1:30-2:30 p.m. Free for members of the Oakridge Community Association. Helmets required.
