All adult tennis lesssons and leagues are administered for the Oakridge Community Centre by Racquet Network. Our most popular adult lessons packages are:

Adult Tennis Lessons
Adult tennis lessons (a.k.a. Tennis for Adult Beginners) are offered throughout the summer at the Oakridge Racquet Club and follow a two week-camp format. They run Monday through Thursday at the same time for a two-week period. If any of the Mon-Thurs sessions are rained out, Friday is used as a make-up day.

Adult Learn to Rally Tennis
Adult Learn to Rally tennis started at the Oakridge Racquet Club in 2011. The program quickly sold out and proved to be our most popular summer program for adults. Using progressive methods and equipment, participants are first taught the concept of cooperative rally. In August, the concept of competitive rally is introduced. By the end of the program, all participants can expect to be greatly improved.

Adult Learn to Play Tennis
Adult Learn to Play Tennis is a new program for 2012. Players will learn how to play singles and double tennis. Included in the program will be rules, ettiquete, tactics and strategy. Players in this program must be able to rally. Those who are unable to rally will be moved into the Adult Learn to Rally Tennis program.

Adult Recreational Tennis League
This tennis league started at the Oakridge Community Centre in 2006. In 2010 it moved to the Acadia Athletic Park for one season while new courts were being built at Oakridge. In 2011 it returned to Oakridge where it became a popular program for the Oakridge Racquet Club.
