This provincial pickleball championship is open to members of Pickleball Alberta. Membership is not required for U16 Boys and Girls events.

*If fewer than three teams register for any 55+ events, they will be folded into their equivalent OPEN doubles events.
Finalists in each event will be eligible to represent Alberta at the Canadian Pickleball Federation Championships.
Fees
There are no fees for U16 events. All other events are as follows:
$20.00 food and beverage fee (per player)
$20.00 prize fee (per player)
$25.00 entry fee (per player per event – players may register for multiple events)
Pickleball Alberta membership (mandatory for adult events – contact Pickleball Alberta)
To register, please contact tournament organizer Brent Johner at brentjohner@racquetnetwork.com or call him at 403-238-0687. An invoice will be prepared and emailed to you with instructions regarding payment. You will then choose to pay by credit card or cheque. Registration deadline is July 1, 2012.
Withdrawals
No refunds are available to players once they have registered. Please be sure that you are able to play before you register.
Tournament Format
Events with draws 8 of more players/teams will follow a double-elimination format. Events with fewer than 8 players/teams will follow a round robin format.
Match Times
Saturday, July 7, 9:00am-5:00pm. Weather permitting, all matches except the finals will be played on Saturday.
Sunday, July 8, 12:00pm-4:00pm. Weather permitting, all finals will be played on Sunday. The Swinger Classic consolation event will also be held on Sunday.
Wooden Racquet Classic Consolation Event
All players who do not make the finals in their events are invited to participate in the Wooden Racquet Classic Consolation Event on Sunday afternoon. It starts promptly at 12:00 pm.
Practice Times
Players who wish to practice, become accustomed to the courts and meet other players are welcome to join us on Friday evening from 7:00-9:00 pm. Players are also welcome to practice when open courts are available on Saturday.
